This Audi has a 2.8L V6 MPI SOHC 12V engine, a 5-speed manual transmission, and the all wheel drive "Quattro' system. It has a clean CarFax report showing 1 owner since purchased new 20 years ago and no accidents. I have personally driven this car over 500 miles and it drives just like it should in every way. I have been commuting to Colorado Springs in this Audi for the last month - it is indeed the perfect highway car. The manual gearbox is extremely smooth and tight, just as it should be. This Audi came to us from the Northeast, where it spent its entire life. The previous owner was meticulous about maintenance and service intervals, so the mechanical components are solid. There is a bit of corrosion on the undercarriage due to the harsh Northeast Winters. The rust on this car would most definitely be considered minimal if we lived in New England, but by Colorado standards it must be mentioned. The exterior: The paint is in excellent condition - it appears glossy all over and has only minor dents and scratches. All six windows are crack free and very little pitting exists in the windshield. The wheels are in very good condition with minimal curb rash or other damage. The tires have 65%+ tread remaining. The interior: The interior on this Audi shows little, if any, wear. It's hard to believe that this vehicle is 20 years old when you are sitting in the cockpit. The dash and door panels, as well as all interior trim are in excellent condition. It still smells like an Audi in the dealership showroom. Mechanically: all systems function as they should and nothing is broken or inoperative on this vehicle. It drives smoothly with no unusual sounds or vibrations. The transmission shifts through all 6 gears as it should with no abnormal sounds or difficulty. The electrical system works as is should as well as all electrical components.
