1971 Honda CB

Well preserved 1971 CB350. This bike sat in a Pennsylvania barn for more than twenty years when I got it. It needed some extensive carburetor work but the gas tank is pristine with no rust inside, and the cylinders are solid. Very low miles for its age. Now for the bad news: needs a starter clutch. Will kick start and runs extremely well. It is currently titled in Maryland. Buyer makes shipping arrangements for out of state delivery. I will assist with shipping on my end. Buyer must make $300 deposit via PayPal at close of auction. On Jan-11-16 at 10:07:58 PST, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: There is a small dent in the tank on the left side. The metal is not creased and the dent is on the flat part of the tank. There is a photo of the dent which is very shallow. There is no rust in the exhaust and the chrome looks very good. The seat is also solid with no tears or holes. A small section of the raised ribbing on is missing. The tires are old and need to be replacedOn Jan-14-16 at 06:29:36 PST, seller added the following information: There have been a few questions about the starter. The ignition switch is functional and there is no problem with the starter or the motor itself. My mechanic that repaired the carburetors told me the clutch for the starter motor needs to be replaced. The starter will spin but not engage. The kick start works reliably and the engine has good compression with no issues with the pistons, rings, or cylinders. When the bike is cold, I can usually get it started on the third or fourth kick (it is still an old bike). The idle may be set a bit low at present.
