Offered for your consideration is my 1995 Jaguar XJS convertible with highly dependable 4.2 liter, 6 cylinder engine mated to smooth shifting automatic transmission. Vehicle has only 67500 miles driven since new. All optional equipment, lights, etc. work properly. Power equipment include driver & passenger seats, windows, steering, ABS brakes, speed control, outside mirrors, radio antenna, convertible top with electric heated/defrost rear glass window. Other options include cold air conditioning, AM/FM radio with cassette player and factory installed trunk mounted 6 CD player. Car shifts effortlessly thru all gears and steering is straight and tight. Four wheel disc brakes have recently been rebuilt with new pads and rotors and new shocks in 2011. Interior is original Oatmeal leather in great condition with no rips, tears or cuts. Note the small scuff mark shown on the drivers seat back in the pictures has been professionally repaired. Interior now looks like new. Exterior color is Topaz Metallic Clear coat and shines like new. Convertible power top is brown in color with no tears or rips. Tires are like new with factory alloy wheels and matching spare tire and alloy wheel. All service records are available as well as all original manuals and two sets of keys. Vehicle recently received a complete service with all new fluids, filters, and new battery installed. This classic Jaguar is a real pleasure to drive, ready to cruise and gets a lot of attention where ever it goes. You will not be disappointed with this great looking, running and dependable sports car. I need to mention that while the car has only been driven 67500 miles since new, the odometer reads 87924 miles. In August 2013 the previous owner had the instrument cluster replaced because he felt the speedometer was not reading accurately. However he allowed his mechanic to replace instrument cluster with a used unit that he bought on line. This unit had 21000 more miles showing on it than the original panel on the car indicated. I have the bill of sale for this used unit installed and the installation service records when it was installed that verify that the actual miles on the car when brought into the shop was 50748 miles and then it showed 71889 miles when it left the repair shop the next day. Payment methods accepted are cashiers check, wire transfer, cash or personal check. However vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared my bank. So Please, do not ask. The reason I am selling the car because I am 74 years old and it is getting a little harder for me to get in and out of the car when it is parked inside my garage. I have set a low reserve, so bid with confidence. You will look a long time and find it very hard to find another Jaguar XJS in this great condition.
