This is my 1956 Ford F100, short wheel base step side pick-up. Just finished, this truck is less than 1 year old and is sub-framed in the front with a 2nd generation Camaro front end and back-halfed with a late model Lincoln and a Ford 8.8 rear. The truck has a fresh 289cid V8 with mild cam, aluminum intake and 4 barrel carb backed by a rebuilt Ford AOD 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The truck also features 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, tilt steering wheel, power adjustable seat, all new window glass and seals even new chrome front and rear bumpers and chrome grill. The paint-job is done in a stunning "Vintage Burgundy Metallic" in a unique matte finish that draws a crowd everywhere you stop. The F100 also has a brand new set Riddler wheels (with color matched inserts) 20X8.5 in the front and 20X10 rear in the rear with new tires (less than 500 miles on everything). New carpet has been installed as well as a Optima yellow top gel battery, a Sony drop face stereo with CD player (located in the glovebox with remote control for easy use), new electric AutoMeter gauges with programmable warning lights, even custom Harley Davison headlights with HID lights, new wiper motor, new emblems, etc. The truck has a large 18 gallon fuel tanks behind the rear axle and new Flowmaster exhaust exiting out the center below the rear bumper. The list goes on and on but I think you get the idea...The truck runs, drives and stops like a new truck yet retains enough of its original classic styling to draw a crowd no matter when or where you're driving her. I have people photographing the truck when I stop at a gas station all the time! She's a beauty and will not disappoint. The truck runs cool even in 100+ degree Florida heat and turns, stops and accelerates fantastic. No disappointments here.
