This is a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo In excellent condition. This car has always been garaged, not driven in bad weather and very well cared for. This particular 951 has some very nice sought-after options, such as India Red paint, power and heated sport seats left and right, leather seats front and rear, 5R transaxle with limited slip and oil cooler, Fuchs staggered wheels, Sport suspension package, and power removable sunroof. Other options include power windows, A/C, original Blaupunkt cassette player, power steering, power locks, power mirrors, and alarm system. Exterior: The exterior of the car is in great condition. No door dings, no curb rash on any of the wheels or marks on the front from parking stones. The paint looks great, I would give it about a 9 out of ten on appearance. All body panels line up as they should and all original glass is in great condition. The car was repainted very well prior to 1998 and it was an excellent job and you have to look very hard to even tell. Interior: The inside of the car looks great with very little to no sun or age damage. The dash has a tiny crack up at the defroster but you really have to look for it. The seats have minimal wear with no sun damage on the top of the rear seat. The car has nice Lloyd floor mats installed and the original carpet looks great under them. The leather around the shifter is not brittle and looks very nice. Also, the car has never been smoked in and the lighter and ash tray have never been used. Everything works in the car including the heat, A/C, windows, and even the headlight washers. The radio does still work but you get some static when you adjust the volume. The carpet in the hatch is very nice and the cargo cover is still in the car and still retracts. Spare tire and jack assembly are complete. Mechanical: Mechanically, the car is in great condition as well. The timing belt, water pump, belts, brake rotors and pads, and all fluids were changed at 74,428 miles. I have the receipts for the work mentioned as well as receipts for other work and maintenance performed. The car does not smoke or leak anything. Clutch feels great and trans shifts tight and flawlessly. No pulsation in the brakes and the front end is tight and doesn't shake when you hit a bump on the highway. The tires are a matched set with plenty of tread, 205's in the front, 225's in the rear. There is no valve noise when you start the car and the turbo spools up just as it should. The car also does not over heat. There is also a ANSA cat back exhaust installed which sounds very nice. Known problems: There are not many. Missing the key for alarm system, missing roof bag, missing battery cover, static heard when adjusting radio, power trunk release works but the hatch doesn't rise unless there is someone in the back to lift it. The hood insulation was deteriorating so it was removed. Digital clock works but does not illuminate. Overall this is a great low mile example of a 951. You would have a hard time finding a cleaner and well cared for Turbo 944 for the money. I would like a $500 Paypal deposit within 24 hours of end of auction. Remaining balance due at time of pickup.
