1979 Ford F-150 4x4 long bed regular cab. Excellent work truck, farm truck or offroad toy. Very solid mechanically. Body is not perfect, but solid. Used as a work truck this past summer, but need room for other projects. Has low mileage 400M out of an 1982 pickup. Original engine with 2 barrel Motorcraft carburetor. Electric choke is not hooked up, and it has difficulty idling until it is warm. There is a manual choke cable that should be hooked up for everyday use. No smoke, ticks, knocks or other noises. Engine runs very well. Summit headers with brand new 3 inch dual exhaust and turbo mufflers. Sounds great and not overly loud. Warner T18 4 speed transmission with granny 1st gear. New Process 205 married part time transfer case. Gear drive. 3.50 open Dana 44 front and Ford 9 inch rear axle. All new brakes and front wheel bearings. Power brakes stop on a dime with good, firm pedal. Ball joints are in need of replacement. The larger tires are hard on them. Has a newer NAPA remanufactured steering gear box. ($$$!). Power steering works great. Turns effortlessly. 6 inch suspension lift, plus 2-3 inch body lift. 35"x12.50x15 Super Swamper Radials on aluminum rims. Tires have roughly 35-40% tread remaining. See photos. Truck will clear up to 44" tires. Repainted around 10 years ago, using the most solid body panels around. It had a piece of carpet for floormat that held water, and now floor has small holes. Less than 1 inch on passenger side. Drivers cab corner and passenger door bottom are starting to get some rust through. Many dents and dings, particularly on passenger side. Solid bed floor. See pictures. Interior is sparse. No door panels, floor mat or roof panel. Dash is cracked and seat is torn and has a black cover. See photos.
