1968 Plymouth Road Runner. An Original, Unmolested car ! 43,600 original miles ! One family owned car since 1968. They purchased the car used when was 6 months old. I see only 3 modifications since new including a Hurst shifter, Hurst mag wheels and Thrush mufflers all believed to have been added to the car shortly after its purchase in 68. The original manuals are in the glove box and I pulled the Broadcast sheet from under the back seat, although it is about 70 numbers off of this cars vin number...an assembly line mistake? This car is so original that I don't believe the seat was changed and the sheet is in vey nice condition. I have not decoded the sheet or the fender tag. Exceptionally nice and original, Black, bench seat interior with no rips or tears. Nice carpet. all the lights, gauges and radio still work. Last registered in 2008 Original 383 c.i. 4 speed, 3:23 Sure-grip. Original manifolds and carburetor. Matching vin. number on the transmission 4 original wheels in the trunk, Original redline spare tire and jack that looks to have never been on the ground. Very solid floors and trunk. One small area of rust on the R.H. body brace. Both quarters have rust But the inner wheel wells are nice. I drove it 2 days ago. It runs Great ! It shifts firm, steers nice and even the exhaust sounds great. The brakes are dragging but not bad for a parked, 47 year old muscle car.
