Vehicle Detail
Just in time for Christmas ! I am the fifth owner of this fine Porsche Carrera 911. I had every intention of keeping it for awhile but I am moving and will soon lose my storage space. The vehicle is a Cabriolet with the optional hardtop, giving you the best of both worlds. There is a new storage stand with a safety strap and storage cover that comes with it. If you have been shopping for a Porsche keep in mind that the Cabriolet w/hardtop costs $12850 more than the typical coupe to start with. Also you should know that the Tiptronic automatic transmission was a $3420 option over the six speed stick. This tranny can be shifted in manaul mode using the buttons on the steering wheel. In addtion to this the 10 speaker audio was $600 more, the Digital CD with interior disc slots was $705, the windscreen (stored in the trunk) was $245,Limited slip diff. was $1215, the Active Traction control was also $1215, the waterfall leather sport bucket seats were $1490 over standard leather, the 18" Sport Classic wheels were a $2656 extra ,the Arena Red metallic paint was a $805 extra and the floor mats were $110, bringing the value of this Porsche new at just over $90,000.This car has a one year old battery and recent front brake replacement. The tires are excellent. It starts, runs and drives as a Porsche should. The trans shifts correctly and it stops on a dime. The convertible top has no tears or frayed places. Please review my Ebay feedback carefully (400+ positive) and you will see that I pride myself with accurate descriptions. Go to the seller feedback tab and you will see that several of my auctions include vehicles that I have sold. This car is in great shape with fresh Mobil 1 oil & filter and can be driven anywhere with confidence. If you have read this far you probably have interest so be sure you go to the following site to view an addtional 71 photos showing far greater detail than can be squeezed into these 24 photos. I consider these photos to be a part of my Ebay auction. You will find descriptions below some of the photos on the Bucket list site. After you open the site click on the first small photo and it will go to a larger photo and you can just hit the arrow to go through them. You may have to copy and paste this site into your browser; s1370.photobucket.com/user/chuckdorst/library/?sort=2&page=1 If you have any doubts about the intermediate shaft/bearing problems associated with Porsche models, go to the following Porsche Club site where they explain the vehicles involved. The 1999 models were not involved at all, as they have double row bearings. Their site is; oregonpca.org/resources/ims-bearing-the-full-story/ I am retired and available if you have any questions. I can and will assist if you prefer to ship at your expense, instead of driving the vehicle home. You can be confident as there are no drips under the car and everything works including the AC, wipers, lights etc. I welcome any inspections prior to your bidding. My cell # is 405-532-0659. This is an Oklahoma cell number that I just kept, but I live in Fort Myers Florida and the vehicle is located in Florida. The vehicle is sold without warranty. I am not interested in trades. I prefer wire transfer of the payment but cashiers checks are acceptable if you don't mind waiting for them to clear (my bank says this is a two week delay for out if state checks). On Dec-22-15 at 15:11:59 PST, seller added the following information: I have just added 4 more photos to the bucket list site. They are copies of the pages of a clear CarFax report.
