1962 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible. Original numbers matching, 361 V8 Golden Commando Power, automatic torqueflite pushbutton transmission. 64,098 original miles. Only 1,516 Sport Fury Convertibles built in 1962. Not many of these out there. This is a 2 owner car. The car has been stored in the second owners garage for the last 46 years. The car does not run. The motor is out of the car and disassembled. I do have all the original parts to assemble the motor. The car is in excellent shape. All original, never painted. The floors, rockers and doors are all solid. All the trim and interior pieces are present. It still has the original white convertible top and boot cover. There is a little body damage on the driver side that is repairable. This is perfect candidate for a restoration or just get it running and drive it the way it is, your choice. It is not easy to find an original car to restore that is as solid as this one. Also included and currently installed on the car is a pair of 60’s custom headers that exit through the wheel wells and also a pair of drag cheater slicks that were used back then. This is real old school 60’s street racing stuff! I have a clear Michigan title to the car in my name plus I also have the title from the second owner from 1965 that will go with the car.
