For sale: 2001 Z3 Coupe 3.0 145k on the cluster Good: Car runs and drives but has been sitting for close to a year. Hellrot Red II in great shape across the entire car. It seems like the roof in the rear and the rear spoiler have some peeling clear coat. Car is really fast. No check engine light. I got the car as a part trade for an E39 M5 I am selling it at no reserve. - Active Autowerke Supercharger on the 3.0 M54 engine - Car comes on some aftermarket coil overs with front camber plates a bit of rust due to sitting but nothing crazy. - Has a short shifter installed not sure on the name - Remus Cat back sounds great - AC Schnitzer shift knob and parking brake handle - New expansion tank - 3 spoke M steering wheel - M Coupe front bumper - M Coupe cluster wither 145k on it the car has a bit less miles but I do not remember the figure - All panels aside from the front bumper are all original and unpainted with all vin tags matching - Interior is from an M Coupe both seats - HID kit installed - No major leaks from any components on the car - Under chassis photos show a pretty dry drive train Now for the issues that I have found on the car. I have not used it since I took it on trade as I had other projects that I was occupied with and have finally decided to move on into other projects. This is very much a project that needs touching up and finishing. Currently the brakes are badly rusted. Needs rear tires well at least the left one as it is pretty bald. Front bumper has a crack in it as you can see in the pics. The projectors inside the headlights have the bezels that have unglued themselves and need to be reglued. It is due for all fluids at this point. Front springs bind when turning lock to lock due to rust build up on the coils. Left front lower control arm ball joint has play and I believe the inner tie rod on the drivers side has play too. Drivers side window works but has trouble coming back up sometimes may need a regulator. The cheap head unit does not work not sure what the issue is never looked at it. ABS and TRACS light is on along with Brake light. Under the car only wetness is a remnant of the power steering pump hose not an oil pan or anything like that. Based on all that it should give you a good description of what condition the car is in. If you have any questions feel free to contact me via ebay. This is a running and driving project that needs a bit of love to get 100%. I would not recommend this car to any one as their only vehicle. You need to do your homework on this chassis and the common maintenance that is required. These cars are getting scarce and to find one unpainted with a supercharger is a unicorn in a non M version.
