1999 Dodge Dakota R/T 5.9L Magnum For Sale is my Dodge Dakota R/T. It is a real R/T and is titled as such. Clean Title. Inspected until 2/16. I had the truck listed previously but while driving it I had a freak accident with it. The wheel hub broke without warning and caused damage to the truck. (see pics) Therefore I am now relisting it as a parts/repair vehicle. Front fender is dented and door is scratched but doesn't appear to be dented. I will be pulling the battery, radio, and replacing the wheels with the stock ones that were painted black. (See Pics) The chrome wheels and 20 inch tires will be sold separately or can be purchased with the truck for an additional $500 if they do not sell locally. I have a spare set of brake pads for the front but at minimum it will need a new wheel hub, rotor, and maybe caliper. I am not a mechanic and recommend you look at the pictures or come check out the truck for damage. Engine and trans run very strong and are worth a lot of money alone. I will consider reasonable offers to end the auction early. Message me through ebay and if the offer is fair I can accept it through ebay's offer to highest bidder program. It just recently came out of the dodge dealership I work at and got new front rotors and ceramic premium brakes, as well as a new front left caliper since it was worn and recommended replacement. It also got new rear brakes installed. Rear rotors were good. I bought this as a project about a year and a half ago. I have done a lot of little things to it but it will could use some cosmetic tlc to have its full potential. I have only driven it about 6k in the last year and a half since I bought it. I have replaced the Headlights and tail lights with nice dot approved aftermarket ones. t has aftermarket speakers. I have replaced the front tie rod and wheel hub, installed new front shocks, replaced one oxygen sensor, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, ignition coil, flushed and cleaned the rear, and replaced the speed sensor. The engine and trans run extremely strong. 5.9 Engine sounds great! The truck is very reliable. Paint isn't terrible but it could use a paint job if you are looking for perfection as it is not perfect. Has the abs light on but the brakes work perfect and passed inspection last year fine with it. This is a great deal for this truck at this price! Tons of potential! *** Again, this will come with the original r/t wheels... but... they are dented, dinged, and spray painted black by the previous owner. they do hold air well though. They have studded snow tires in the rear and regular tires in the front. They are all decent tires. All in all it is a strong running reliable performance truck. The 5.9 will certainly move when you get on the pedal. The authentic R/T's are getting very hard to find and with a little work this could be a great truck. My no reserve price will be way below the average retail values listed in the most popular pricing guides so my car is not detailed or re-conditioned but sold with no detailing. They are simply washed and put out for sale. You will not find the motors cleaned and you won’t find shiny protectorates such as “Armor-All” on them and the cars will be in their original driven condition. Because this car is only inspected in PA, it is not guaranteed that this car will pass inspection all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for me to guarantee inspection. Check engine lights and others will be mentioned if they are showing.
