This car was my first restoration started few years ago. I invested lot money including rebuild of the motor following which almost 1000 miles done, I replaced most parts with new OEM ones including,1. Starter motor2. ignition switch3. alternator4. front and rear struts5. electric fuel pump6. rebuilt carburator 7. new fuel line8. new accelerator/Clutch cables9. complete rolling restorations of the body10. new cal-look widow rubber11. new stailess steel window beadings12. chrome package inclding new body chrome strips, new side steps13. new turn signal unit14. used EMPI wheel set with Staggerd tires15. brand new seat upholstry with new hood liner16. new door rubber17. new headlights18. new paint with Metallic Red done in 2010 19. New Carpets after sound proofing20. Drag shifter21, new batteryfew things to be completed too. dash rubber has a crack,paint has few scrathes on the right front fender while inside the garage. few scratche while in polishing the car. I hae the paint code for it. i was busy with many other restorations and no time and place for it. I lost in touch with my Volkswagen technician and unable to get a good sound tune up lately. It was running in historical plates but i did not register it and drive , parked in heated garage but time had come to move it out, The car has a whale tale in same color and would like to give away with reserve price. the TLC woukd make it a showcar and a daily driver. the car would be sold as it is, and on sale locally too. Inspection can be done as arranged.
