This 1987 Carrera 3.2 has essentially the same galvanised body as the outgoing SC, albeit with a new front spoiler with integral fog-lamps. The interior was also very similar to that of the SC, with just revised seats and trims and the look of the Turbo Porsche for a quarter of the price. The braking system was upgraded in the 911 to cope with the extra power using ventilated discs - with a larger diameter and a thicker width. The 3.2 Carrera also saw the introduction of hydraulic tensioners for the cam-chains. These eliminated what had long been a weak point on 911 engines mechanical chain tensioners. The roaring feel of this road beauty is matched perfectly by a well kept body. The exterior is finished in Tungsten Gray and does not even have as much as a single rock chip, ding, dent or blemish anywhere on it. The interior is a soft subtle onyx leather with no visual wear or tear anywhere throughout the cabin. I've also replaced the old top with a brand new convertible top and bonnet as clearly visible in the pictures. This car appears a timeless classic as if it was preserved in a bottle. This cars outstanding body is carried by four brand new 255/40ZR and 295/35ZR17 performance tires. The odometer in the vehicle was replaced in 2012 at 83,128 because the 10th of the mileage counter had gotten stuck. This classic is showing as close to original as possible. I have just had this car fully serviced with a brand new clutch and brakes all around. I drive this car any weekend weather allows, and can tell you this car runs out 100%. I have no apologies for this car, it drives as good as it looks. I hope the next owner will enjoy it as much as I have.
