Attention MGA Enthusiasts! Here is one of the most rare MGA cars ever built. A 1958 MGA Twin Cam Coupe. It is estimated that there were fewer than 300 built in 1958. It is a New Mexico car, so it is virtually rust free. Unfortunately, the original engine is long gone; it is also missing the headlight buckets, the tail light assemblies, windshield and other small parts. However, it is still an extremely rare find! The vin number for the car is YM3/797 and the body number is 61772(See photos). There is an engine in place and I believe the heads to the engine are in the trunk of the blue MGA pictured. The previous owner took the car apart and had the body work done and primer was applied. The body panels are on with a couple of bolts waiting for someone to execute the final stage of the restoration. The only area that I was able to locate any rust is on the driver's side rocker panel(see photos). I was unable to locate any evidence of a previous accident. The original gauges are in the trunk and I also have the 3 piece rear window; door glass is also in place. The brake system is complete with disc brakes all around! But wait, the deal gets even more interesting... The two other cars on the pictures are also included as part of the auction! So you will be bidding on a single price for all 3 cars! All 3 cars have been stored in a warehouse in New Mexico for over 30 years! The blue Roadster is a 1957 and the red Coupe is a 1959. The Roadster will need the most body work as it obviously has had some poor workmanship previously performed. It is fairly complete to include the top bows. With the exception of the horrible upholstery job, the red Coupe appears to be in its original condition(paint and body), extremely solid all around and it is only missing a few miscellaneous parts. However, it will need both rocker panels replaced. The frames and suspension parts on all 3 cars are solid. I have a clear title in hand for all 3 cars! My absolute preference is to sell all 3 cars together as a package deal and for one price. I have a bunch of additional pictures and will gladly share them as requested; so you can better appreciate the condition of each car. I highly encourage a personal inspection of the vehicles before purchasing. You can either come in person or send an agent to inspect the cars and verify vin numbers and documentation. The cars are located in El Paso, TX. None of the cars run or drive and they will need to be towed. Your driver will need a winch to be able to load the cars on a flat bed or trailer! All cars are SOLD in an 'AS IS" condition with no warranties offered or implied. For the highly motivated buyer, I will entertain serious offers so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if a purchase occurs.
