This 1948 Blown Anglia is the quintessential hot rod car and was the former Nostalgia Gasser Drag car "Gold Rush"! This is the car every Hot Rod guy DREAMS of owning. This car has it all. It is a show car a drag car, and a registered street car. The reserve on this car is not cheap but if you look at the picture above and the 100 additional pictures below and read this description carefully I think the reserve is fair for the car considering all the time and money that obviously was spent on this car! Price is still less than ½ of what is in this car, not including original purchase price. OK here we go. It has a Monster Ford 460 CID motor with a Polished Blower, 2 Demon 4- Barrel carbs, Mallory electric fuel pump, Electric Fan, CSR Polished Aluminum Electric Water Pump, Mallory distributor, MSD AL6 Box, MSD coil and wires, Custom made Headers with 3" dual exhaust and built in mufflers, all ceramic coated inside and out. When you start this car it makes the hairs on your arms stand up. It sounds AWESOME! It is backed by a 3-Speed Automatic transmission and finished off with a Chassisworks FAB 9 rear-end with Strange Pumpkin and Strange SS street axles, fitted with VariShock custom coil-over adjustable shocks and a custom Chassisworks 4-link rear suspension. It has Rack & Pinion Steering, IFS front suspension with Heidt’s Chrome tubular control arms with VariShock custom coil-over adjustable shocks and 4-Wheel drilled and slotted Wilwood disc brakes and calipers. The rear wheels are Vintage Halibrand Magnesium Wheels and the front Vintage Polished 10 spoke by ET wheels both are NHRA qualified for vintage Gassers and they look Awesome with the Widetrack Radials in the front and street and track legal M&H radial "Cheater Slicks" in the back. Just check out these pictures of this car and tell me if you drove this you wouldn't have the koolest car at ANY car show, car gathering or Drag race. What can I say about the Show Paint job on this car that the pictures don’t show? The Gold metallic paint finish is BEAUTIFUL. I tried to take some bright sun pictures, but they tend to get a little washed-out. There are a couple of very small chips that were touched up. The level of detail under the hood and on the undercarriage is awesome, as you can clearly see in the pictures. Your wait is over. This 1948 Blown Anglia is the quintessential hot rod car and was the former Nostalgia Gasser Drag car "Gold Rush"! This is the car every Hot Rod guy DREAMS of owning. This car has it all. It is a show car a drag car, and a registered street car.

The reserve on this car is not cheap but if you look at the picture above and the 100 additional pictures below and read this description carefully I think the reserve is fair for the car considering all the time and money that obviously was spent on this car! Price is still less than ½ of what is in this car, not including original purchase price. OK here we go. It has a Monster Ford 460 CID motor with a Polished Blower, 2 Demon 4- Barrel carbs, Mallory electric fuel pump, Electric Fan, CSR Polished Aluminum Electric Water Pump, Mallory distributor, MSD AL6 Box, MSD coil and wires, Custom made Headers with 3" dual exhaust and built in mufflers, all ceramic coated inside and out. When you start this car it makes the hairs on your arms stand up. It sounds AWESOME! It is backed by a 3-Speed Automatic transmission and finished off with a Chassisworks FAB 9 rear-end with Strange Pumpkin and Strange SS street axles, fitted with VariShock custom coil-over adjustable shocks and a custom Chassisworks 4-link rear suspension. It has Rack & Pinion Steering, IFS front suspension with Heidt’s Chrome tubular control arms with VariShock custom coil-over adjustable shocks and 4-Wheel drilled and slotted Wilwood disc brakes and calipers. The rear wheels are Vintage Halibrand Magnesium Wheels and the front Vintage Polished 10 spoke by ET wheels both are NHRA qualified for vintage Gassers and they look Awesome with the Widetrack Radials in the front and street and track legal M&H radial "Cheater Slicks" in the back. What can I say about the Show Paint job on this car that the pictures don’t show? The Gold metallic paint finish is BEAUTIFUL. I tried to take some bright sun pictures, but they tend to get a little washed-out. There are a couple of very small chips that were touched up. The level of detail under the hood and on the undercarriage is awesome, as you can clearly see in the pictures.
