Vehicle Detail
I purchased this Camaro in 2006. I worked on it until 2009 when I joined the military. While I was away the car was broken into and the stereo was stolen. When they did that they left the windows down and it was left that way until I came back home last month. So, the interior is in pretty rough shape, please see pictures. Last month when I came home, I put fresh gas in it and a new battery and it fired right up. The engine is running a little rich, but it has a Holley 4150 carburetor, so it should be easy to tune. I drove it about 3 miles and the transmission shifts are pretty delayed and it takes a long time for it to downshift. I am not sure what the issue there is. It has some rust spots on the drivers side floor pan and the bottom of the passenger side door where it has rusted through in spots. As I mentioned before, the interior is in rough shape from the windows being left down. IT does have t-tops and of course, they leak. The power steering pump is in it, however, I never had the bracket to mount it to the V8 I put in it, so the pump is just tucked out of the way. This would make an excellent project car but that is what it is, a PROJECT CAR. I would love for someone to take this car and finish it. I put a lot of new parts in the Camaro between 2006 and 2009, even though the parts only have about 15 total miles on them, these "New" parts are 6-9 years old. 5.7L 350CI V8 out of a 1993 Chevrolet pickup Holley 650CFM 4150 carburetor (rebuilt in 2008) New Edelbrock Performer Intake manifold New valve springs and seals, Valves lapped at the time too. New Crane Cam Camshaft, I don't remember the specifications, its one of there low rpm torque cams New Crane Cams lifters. New Hedman shorty headers New Hedman Y-pipe (Not installed) New Dynomax Cat-back exhaust; I welded a pipe to fit between the y pipe and the cat back so I didn't have to install the cat. (not installed) New Water Pump New Radiator New mechanical fuel pump New engine Fan w/ spacer New Summit racing distributor w/ coil New plug wires This Camaro is located in Martinsville, Illinois. I highly encourage you to see this Camaro in person before you bid. It is a good start on a project car, but it is a project car. If you would like specific pictures send me a message and I would be happy to take pictures for you. If you have questions or want to come see the car, message me on here or call/text me at (812) 870-0541. I will not ship the car, If you want to ship it, you will need to make all of the arrangements. Payment will be in person with cash, money order or cashiers check. Thanks for looking!
