for sale is a 1988 Mazda 323 GTX that is in good condition. The car runs great and drives good. If your reading this ad, then you must know what your looking at. For the two years that Mazda produced these in america, only 1243 were sold here . The car has a 1.8 turbo motor that runs good. I was told by the previous owner that the motor was changed out for a Japanese replacement with 60K on it about three years ago. Although i have a lot of receipts for the car I don't have one documenting that, but knowing the guy, I believe him. The transmission is a five speed, and it shifts through all the gears without issue. The car has a small vibration caused by a bad wheel bearing on the back passenger side as I was told. The car has some aftermarket mud flaps on it now, but does come with the stock one along with the stock center caps. It also comes with a box of miscellaneous switches and parts. The drivers seat has some rough spots but still feels good. The rest of the interior is in great shape considering the age. It also has the optional digital dash. these cars came standard with analog gauges.The radio comes on, but does not produce any sound. The Central Diff Lock button does still work. The tires are about 8 months old. The heat works great, but the A/C is not cold. The paint is in decent condition, but could use a buffing. There is a small dent on the front fender, but the car comes with a replacement fender. The power windows work good and the sunroof does too. The exhaust is not stock.
