I try to describe the positives & negatives of this vehicle accurately in this description. Check out this 2010 Ford Transit Connect XLT. These little workhorses are really unique and offer a great combination of fuel economy with great versatility. This vehicle was previously in a large fleet for a national home/business security system installation company and I purchased it from their leasing company. National fleet/lease vehicles are some of the best maintained cars on the road, typically they are held to strict maintenance schedules and the large companies behind them are never short on cash to need to stretch the oil change time. They also equipped this little cargo van with a custom built set of shelves/drawers, a cargo divider, and a very high quality ladder rack. I'm sure this set up costs thousands of dollars when installed and would be very nice for a contractor. The XLT package gives this Transit Connect power windows/locks/mirrors, keyless entry, cruise control, and more -- extra options you don't often find in work vehicles. Mechanically, this Transit Connect is in very good condition. The engine runs smooth and sounds great. The transmission shifts good and goes through all four gears with ease. The brakes stop the van straight and smooth. While driving the suspension components appears to be in overall good shape. The steering appears to be in good working condition and the van drives straight. Exhaust is quiet and sounds good. The engine sounds great and haven't noticed any smoke. I have not noticed any leaks on the ground where this Transit Connect has been sitting. While driving, the transmission shifts smooth and goes into all gears. The van runs smooth with a very slight vibration at 65+ MPH (probably a tire very slightly out of balance), but otherwise I can't find many faults with how this Transit Connect runs. The tires are all matching 205/65/15 Continental ContiProContact tires with plenty of tread remaining. The tire pressure monitor light is illuminated (not sure why - likely a sensor not communicating correctly). The climate control works and this Transit Connect blows air on all blower levels and wherever you want it to (vents, defroster, etc - front and rear). The Heat works great and it feels like the A/C is working although it has been cool here lately. This Transit Connect is equipped with AM/FM/CD radio powers up and works like it should. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. This van has power windows and locks that work like they should. At idle, the shelves in the back tend to rattle a bit...I've had other Transit Connects with these shelves and they all seem to do that...sort of annoying but not that big of a deal, maybe it would get better if they had some weight in them. I received only one key/fob combination set with the van. Overall, this vehicle drives quite good and I would feel comfortable driving it where you need to get back to. Cosmetically -- this van is in nice condition. There is really no body damage at all present except for normal nicks and scratches consistent with age/usage. The body panels line up like they should, all the doors open and close great. You can still see some outlines of the previous company's logos when you look hard enough/in the right light but they're not noticeable. There's a couple tiny bubbles of rust on the bottom of the rear bumper, but this is a nice looking clean vehicle. The windshield and all the glass is in clean condition without cracks. The interior is also in good shape. The seats' upholstery in all in tact, as are all of the door panels, trim, etc. There is some minor discoloration in the carpets and on the seat consistent with mileage/usage but nothing a half-way decent detail couldn't remove if you were so inclined. The rear shelves, drawers, and racks are fully of cubby holes to put your stuff and appear to be in good shape. Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. This Transit Connect is ready to go into service for your business and will look great with your logo on the side! I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. This is the State of Michigan's rule, not mine...but from browsing eBay $10 is probably the cheapest temp-tag of any state and you will be able to drive your car immediately and legally. In Michigan, all cars sold over 10 years old are marked as mileage exempt in accordance with Federal law. Basically, this means that the State stops keeping track of mileage on older cars, however Autocheck still does track the mileage and this vehicle is not known to have any mileage inaccuracies or discrepancies.
