I have used this bike as my "Adventure" bike. It does it well. The shaft drive removes all concerns of being stranded with a worn/broken chain or sprocket. The Deluxe model has the largest volume gas tank which allows you to go many miles between fill-ups (an important point for adventure bikes), and it has very good ground clearance both for the frame and exhaust. The tires are good, brakes are fair. It has a windshield and backrest/rack. There is a slight miss now and then at slow speeds, but most times it is almost unnoticeable. When running down the road, it is a smooth efficient runner. The CX or HondaGuzzi, is one of the best engineered bikes ever made. The proof of that, is how many are still out there. Though there are many still around, there are few of this model with the largest gas tank, and the gas tanks are not interchangeable. The bike is located near Kalamazoo, MI and is for sale locally. Thus, I reserve the right to end this auction early. I expect payment within 5 days of close of auction and will store the bike for an additional 2 weeks without charge. After two weeks, there will be a storage charge of $5 per day payable prior to release of title. If you live fairly close bye (within a couple hundred miles or so), I can transport the bike to you for $0.40 per mile (round-trip). This is a unique bike that will serve you well in almost any capacity. I drive it weekly, and every time I do, I am happy to have done so.
