Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 I have for sale a pretty rare 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2 door 4x4, LJ model (extended rear with higher towing capacity, 2 rows of seats plus cargo space). Its automatic, 6 cylinder engine, soft top, with only 80k miles. The jeep still has a salvage title from insurance not wanting to pay for repairs, which will be rebranded after theft inspection is done. The good: Interior is in nice shape other than missing airbags. Wheels and tires and spare in nice shape. Top is good. The body is nice from end of front fender (bolt on front clip) backwards. Frame is not rotten. Engine starts right up and runs. Compression was tested and is 150 on all cylinders. Axles are ok. Driveshaft not damaged. The bad: In the front there was a hit on left corner so it needs work on body panels, grill, radiator, left shock, engine fan, etc. Engine needs work on some of its mounts. The rear case of transmission is cracked, maybe a partial rebuild or swap with another auto or manual if you have one. The front part of frame is bent, needs straightening or new frame section welded on, so im told. The jeep rolls ok on rear wheels for transport, front may need to be picked up until body work finished, not sure. It was towed 200 miles with front wheels on trailer. Im not a mechanic and I dont have the know-how or means to do all these repairs and no room in garage, but Unlimited LJs from this year with similar mileage sell for $20k on cars.com so its a good investment and a nice project jeep especially if you want to replace damaged parts with aftermarket or different ones. I have the title and it will be transferred upon sale. Jeep is located in Warren NJ. Can be shipped if you arrange pickup. On Nov-16-15 at 18:39:43 PST, seller added the following information: Just wanted to add since I may have missed these in the description: The driveshaft is ok, however it was disconnected by the tow truck driver because of the cracked transmission case im assuming to prevent any damage since he didnt use a flatbed. The shaft and its bolts are in trunk. I also found one rust spot on body under door thats been painted over, however it doesnt look serious. Soft top has a small cut on one of plastic windows but that one piece can be replaced or fixed. Im assuming the jeep was used for some offroading or top off driving as the carpeting was taken out. I think 1 or 2 engine mounts need straightening other looks ok.
