For Sale is a 1st Gen. 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel dropped in a 92 Dodge D-250. The truck is solid body wise but would need some work. The entire front end would need rebuilt, the interior is gutted, and the tranny slips between 3rd and 4th. Thus, this is pretty much for the motor. I spent my whole fall break deleting the fuel heater and rebuilding the VE Rotary Pump. I forgot to put 1 small washer back in the pump during the rebuild and it destroyed it, so I removed it again, as pictured. It is junk now and has already been sold, it was unrebuildable. The shaft key luckily did NOT fall into the gear housing during the pump mishap. Truck was running fine prior to pump leaking. Also will need an alternator. The odometer stopped at 201k about a year ago but the engine has been well maintained. I'm only selling and or trading it because I'm fairly angry with it at the moment and I have another Diesel. Has Dana 70 Spicer Rear and 4,000lb Front End. Truck is 2wd Auto/w Overdrive. Clean Title. Intake has been put back on after these pictures so no debris could get in. Dash is in good shape with no cracks. Truck has 5th wheel and husky tow hitch, power everything including speed control. Note: Truck only has so many colors of paint on it for rust prevention, premium red paint will be included with the truck for a paint job, if desired.
