Street or strip. I am listing this car for a friend of mine. He owns a business and he just doesnt have the time for anything other than his business.....so his Nova is up for grabs! This car is COMPLETELY streetable. All lights work in and out. Even the horn works! I will describe in detail everything. I have provided 100+ detailed pictures along with detailed video clips. BODY The entire body on this classic 71' looks to be SOLID compared to most. All of the panels are straight or close to it...It would not take much at all for a bodyman to put some fresh paint on it. Both doors and the trunk open and close with that tight clicking sound that you would expect from a solid car. The underside of both door lips are pretty clean and not rusty! All of the glass is crack free. This Nova is sporting a bolt on cowl hood. All of the frame, floorpans, and trunk pan underneath this classic Nova appear to be extremely SOLID and clean. The only spot of rust that I could find is on the end of the driver side frame rail where it bolts to the rear bumper(see pictures). This car has been professionally tied and caged. John Holt did the frame and 10 point cage. He is very well known for caging these cars and we have been told it can cost upwards of $8K just to have this done! Cosmetically, it is overall very solid as seen in the pictures. Minimal bodywork and fresh paint would do wanders! I will let the pictures and videos do the rest of the talking about the body. ENGINE & DRIVETRANE BBC 468ci engine 12:1 compression. 1969 square port closed chamber heads. 778 Solid roller cam. Steel crank. MSD ignition.(Absolutely pounds the ground and sounds amazing). Powerglide with trans brake and 5500 Cohan converter flawlessly shifts HARD into every single gear. 12 bolt rear end with 456 Richmond pro gear. Full spool strange axles. Latter bars with coil overs. Car is NOT Mini-Tubbed. Has stock frame rails still in it. The rear suspension was also done by John Holt who is well known for professional good quality work. Fuel cell and battery is in the trunk. This car is a 10 second ride at the track, and can be driven anywhere on the street! It is an absolute blast to cruise around and will put a smile on anyones face! INTERIOR This 71' Nova has the deluxe interior. It has the Factory optional RPM gauge in the gauge cluster. All Autometer gauges as seen in the pics. The carpet is newer. The rear seat is still intact. And it sports a set of racing bucket seats. A complete set of softseal weatherstripping(brand new) goes with the sale. The interior dome light and horn still works too!
