1998 Mercedes Benz SL500 ,smoke silver and beige interior .75,000 miles ,in excellent condition ,fun car to drive . The minor accident showing in the Auto Check was a result of a damage to the bumper by those parking lot barriers. Damage was not a car to car collision. It cost $2,200 to replace the bumper @ Scott's Coach Work in Phoenix. They told me that was a very common damage with the SL being low to the ground. Replaced the valves that holds the soft top down above the windshield ($700) and I also replaced the three plastic windows of the soft top ($800 ). All parts in the engine are all original from Germany. ...no parts has ever been replaced. I've owned the car for about 10 year's and only added 7,000 miles. Any questions ,feel free to ask .
