Selling my Classic 1974 Porsche 914. I purchased this southern California car back in 1982 and now reside in Ohio with the car. The car has never seen rain or snow since I've owned it and is a good solid car. It has won numerous awards at local car shows and it has a clear title. The heat exchangers have been removed and now has exhaust set up with a Empi ceramic coated header on it so there is no heat or defrost in the car but all of the controls are there if you want to reinstall the heat exchangers. All of the white graphics on the car are vinyl and in great condition. They can be removed with a blow dryer if you choose to do so. The car has custom Koing sport seats in perfect condition and a 5pt Simpson seatbelts is installed with a beautiful black powder coated professionally installed rollbar. The car has a nitrous system installed for the purpose of show. It is functional with a switch and celenoid hooked up, the system has never been used. The targa roof has a lexan sun roof professionally installed and looks very cool on the car. Look at the photos, enlarge and zoom in if you can to look at the details on the car. The car is so shinny black that it shows the reflections of the trees and sky, I took them on a cloudy day but that did not help much.The paint is a repaint and I would rate it a 8 or 9.EXTERRIOR:Beautiful black gloss paint, Front fiberglass custom air dam, Rear spoiler with corvette wing that looks really nice on the car. ABS plastic rocker panels with raised white PORSCHE letters.Custom mirrors. Cross drilled brake rotors all around with big brake calipers in the front and a large 23mm brake master cylinder. halogen headlights with new fog light lenses. Has beautiful polished real fuchs rims, porsche center caps and valve stem caps. Tires are Yokohamas and have a lot of tread.TRUNKS:Rust free front and rear trunks. rear trunk has new carpet. front trunk has spare with fuchs rim and jack and a custom storage area for storing some cleaning gear to take with you to the car shows and a tool box with tool that comes with the car.ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION;Low mileage 2.0 fuel injected clean and detailed engine with fresh oil and filter. Has large fuel rails with PSI gauge, K&N air filter. Pertronix electronic points with flame thrower coil, new battery with + terminal quick release for storage, new starter. Runs good with a deep nice sound with that exhaust header on it.INTERRIOR:The custom cockpit on this car has a lot going on, look at the photos closely, New carpet, New floor mats with MOMO aluminum foot plates, Custom pedals and dead ped for resting your left foot while driving. The car has the apearance group console with clear gauges and lots of chrome. Custom door panels, Porsche stainless steel door thresholds with PORSCHE on them, The Koing seats are beautiful with no tears or scratches, has shift light, exposed bolt caps have chrome snap caps on them to cover the ugly bolt heads. Custom powder coated rollbar still allows the targa top to be latched and secured as it should. Lexan sun roof nicely installed. custon steering wheel with horn buttons and NGR hub allows quick release to remove steering wheel and is a great theft deturant. I always put a protector on the floors when I drove the car so I would not get any scrathes or ware on the Momo floor plates.SUMARRY:I just love this little car and but I am at a point in my life where where I want to take on other interest. These little air cooled gems are increasing in value and are hard to find in this condition. I have a lot of pride, time and money in this car and it is not my intention to recover the moneys invested but I want the car to go to a good home and to some one that will take good care of it. My reserve is way below what I have invested in the car and what the condition of the car is. This is a good solid car which are geting very hard to find these days. The car is a LE (limited edition) and only a handfull of these exist today. A great car for a weekend drive or to hit you local car shows with.
