Nice 1971 True 400 Ram Air Formula Firebird. The car has been changed from the original color to Viper Red. Hearst T-Tops were added to the vehicle as an upgrade. Other than that the car appears to be in stock period correct emblems and decals. The interior has been completely redone all interior parts were done as original as possible. A custom stereo system was added with a sub woofer added in the truck off the car. Custom auto meter gauges were added to the original dash. The original dash was re-finished with a dash cap. New GT correct replacement steering wheel with a thick grip. The suspension has been completely rebuilt, including ball joints, bushings and front/rear shocks and springs. The car rides very smooth and corners very well. The rear tires 255/60/15 BFG T/A Radials. The fronts 245/60/15 BFG T/A Radials with all new wheel vinques 15/8 Pontiac Rally 2 wheels with all new red PMD center caps and polished trim rims and lug nuts. All headlights/taillights are all new. The engine is a 1970 400 Ram Air 3 with edelbrock performer intake, Holly 750 Carb. The engine is balanced with a forged steel crank and rods, 4 bolt main block. Forged aluminum pistons and the cam is fairly lumpy hydraulic cam shaft. Original Ram Air 3 head lightly polished with full aluminum roller rockers and correct valve springs. MSD ignition box with correct distributor. The transmission is a TH 400 with a mild shift kit. The exhaust has black ceramic coated full length headers into dual 2.5 inch flowmaster delta flow 2 chamber mufflers. The rear end was changed to a Ford 9 inch with 355 gears and a eaton posi track unit with steel axles. The car has a truck popper and automatic locks.
