Vehicle Detail
This beautiful, low mileage 2005 XJ8L is ready for a new home. I have owned the car for the last 7 ½ years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are looking for a Jag of this vintage, buy the “L” version as the long wheelbase makes a big difference in the overall ride and the comfort of the back seat passengers. This car is fully equipped with navigation, cd player and front and rear heated seats. It has had all regular services performed. In addition, I have done the following:1. Had a complete 4 wheel brake service at about 40,000 miles.2. Replaced all 4 tires at about 50,000 miles.3. Replaced both upper control arms and had a front end alignment at 63,000 miles. If you have researched these cars, you know that one common and very expensive repair is the air suspension system. I have recently replaced the compressor, suspension control module and distribution valve. All receipts are available. This is about $3000 worth of work that any of these cars will need at some point. The car runs and drives extremely well . The AC is ice cold and both the engine and transmission are silky smooth. The paint and interior are in great shape. All the electrics work and there are no warning lights lit. The pictures give you some idea of the beauty of this car. This car originally came from the Chicago area. It was in a rear end accident in 2007. All repairs related to the accident were done at the Jaguar dealer in Chicago. I bought the car in 2008. The car has a clear standard Texas title. If you are looking for one of these, you would be hard pressed to find one any nicer. It’s the right color and has been very well maintained. There is a very minor amount of crazing in a small area of the paint on the right side of the rear bumper. You need to look closely to see it. There is also some very slight sagging at the back of the headliner near the rear glass. Again, this is not obvious.
