I am listing this very nice 2002 Nissan Altima to be sold to the highest bidder. It has been well maintained and has only about 88k Original Miles!. This car was a trade in from a New Car Dealership right here in the Tampa Bay Area. When I first picked up this Nissan it ran great and the interior was in excellent condition but there was faded paint on the roof and on the hood. Normally I would simply sell a car as it sits, however, this car was in such great condition I decided to make it extra special. I took this Altima to my good friend who has been doing all of my family's auto painting for years and had the sun fade areas painted and he did a great job of blending it in. Another issue very common with these Older Nissan Altimas in Florida is the outer door handles. They get brittle with the heat. There were 2 broken outer door handles so I decided to buy 4 brand new ones as well. So the new owner should be in great shape for quite a while. If you look closely at the pictures you can see broken door handles. THESE HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH BRAND NEW! Mechanically this Nissan is in great shape. I sent it to my mechanic and had him take a look.. There is not really much to say except this car has been VERY well maintained, and since it has such low miles I would recommend it to anybody. It really did not need anything at all so I told him to change the oil anyway. I drove it back and forth to work from my house for 3 days (10 miles each way) and it ran well, handles well. good brakes and decent tires. I would say the tires are around 50% on the front and much better on the rear, so I would budget for 2 new tires in the next 6 months or so. Other than that everything works like it is supposed to including Ice Cold AC and an upgraded stereo system. As far as the interior, there are no rips or tears. no funny smells and no signs of wear that I normally find in vehicles like this. I would make an educated guess to say that this car was owned by non smokers. Everything is intact and working including the power windows. And a VERY CLEAN Altima. The CarFax is clean and lists this as a 2 Owner Car with the value coming in at $1110 above retail book value. It also shows this Altima as Dealer Serviced for the first 45,000 miles and my mechanic has determined that the second owner had been very diligent about the maintenance as well prior to trading it in when buying a new car from the dealer.
