If you have 0 feedback please simply send me a message as a courtesy prior to bidding. 96 DODGE RAM 1500 LARAMIE XLT CLUB CAB I am listing this 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie SLT Club Cab with tow package. The Auto Check Report shows 0 ACCIDENTS and also verifies the mileage to be correct. The report states that this is a 100% Florida Truck. If you would like a copy of the report I will be happy to email it to you. This truck was previously owned by an older gentleman who is one of my customers. He loved that Dodge almost like a part of his own family, and he simply got to a point where he had no space for his truck and had to sell it. When this Dodge came in, I had the shop take a look and service it. The fluids were checked, and changed as necessary, the radiator was flushed and refilled, and the water pump was replaced.Once the maintenance was complete. I took it for a short ride. I noticed a couple of other items that needed attention. I brought it back in and the shop installed new front brakes and shocks as well. This is a very strong running truck. And I am sure the new owner will be quite pleased with the performance. It has the 5.9L 8 cylinder engine and a fresh tune up. This Dodge chirped the tires when I first started out on the test drive. Runs very smooth on the highway and this truck accelerates nicely. This truck has not been abused. It has primarily been used for a light work, and second vehicle for a home owner and nature enthusiast. There are matching seat covers and a custom headliner. At first glance, when I saw seat covers, I immediately assumed the seats were messed up. This was not the case. The previous owner used seat covers to protect the seats and they match the custom headliner as well. It is a hunter green camouflage type pattern. I did not completely remove all of the seat covers, however, I did inspect underneath and found the upholstery to be in great shape for its age. The dash, however, has cracks which were covered buy a carpeted dash cover, and there is one tear in the driver seat. I have included pictures of the dash and the other defects that I found. Overall this is a great truck. The air blows cold, and the electric window switches etc. work exactly as they are supposed to. There is a stereo included, and as a bonus, Your Very Own CB Radio!! These were in the Truck when it came in. The stereo is not connected. I think the CB is, but I have no idea how to operate it, so it's kinda just there. I will leave that for the new owner to figure out and enjoy. The exterior body is completely intact and no dents or major dings. There is no rust and the paint is very good for its age as well. Of course this is a Truck, so don't expect cosmetic perfection, but very clean and well taken care of. Please view all of the pictures and form your own opinion as far as cosmetics. I drove the car daily for about 2 weeks and I personally like it very much. You will notice a few antennas in the pictures. These were also with the Truck and they are magnetic so you can easily remove them if you want but I will leave everything with the vehicle. Mechanically this truck runs Great!! After my normal test drive I just kept on driving this one. The usual test ride turned into a 2 week test drive. Absolutely no lack of power here and I would drive this Dodge Truck anywhere. The alignment is dead on and the steering is just right. It has good tires with plenty of tread and it rides smooth. On the highway you can pass cars like they are standing still. It is set up for towing as well, and although I haven't towed anything. I am quite sure you can count on this Ram to tow anything that a brand new truck of it's size will with no problems. To sum it up, If you are looking for the reliability and dependability of a newer truck, without spending a Truckload of Money, then this one fits the bill. The engine and transmission are sound and durable, It has a strong suspension, and all of the basic routine maintenance has already been done!
