PLEASE SEE YOUTUBE video link General Info:1958 Chevy Apache stepside with Florida title and current registration in my name. I’ve driven it about 500 miles. Mustang II front clip and Camaro rear axle. Engine is from 2003 Chevy 5.3 LS truck engine with 4L60E auto trans. Very powerful engine in this light truck. Power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, windshield wiper conversion, Vintage Air and Heat (still needs electric connections and Freon charge to complete install). The whole truck is in primer with blue tint. Like new Boss 338 chrome wheels and tires (I have new white wall radials white powder coat steel wheels if you prefer). Windows and doors open and close fair—has Bear Claw hinges. New steering wheel and Lokar shifter. Seat upholstery is new. Bed wood is 1x6 from Home Depot. Brakes are in great shape. NO RUST…I can’t find any active rust issues. I will try to get more videos and better pics in 1-2 days. Negative: most of gauges still need programmed (not working at this time); interior carpet and vinyl on doors is not professional quality, lower driver door skin shows poor body repair work; door weatherstriping is not correct size for this truck—doors sill good, but have to shut doors firmly.
