Clean Rust Free 100% Florida Toyota Celica GT I am listing this sporty little Celica GT with about 150K for a friend of mine who is also a semi-retired Dealer. He recently started a different business and had some inventory left over. He had asked me to take a look and see if there were any cars that I could help him liquidate and I agreed. This little Toyota was one that caught my eye. The Auto Check scores this Celica GT at 70!! Similar vehicle range between 25 and 55 so this one scores way up there and you can tell!This Celica GT is simply a very well kept clean, neat and sporty. It had been sitting for quite a while but I put the key in and started it right up. I had this one and a few others delivered to the mechanic and had it checked out. We ended up putting in spark plugs maybe a coil oil change, and some gas stabilizer then I took it out for a test drive. This little Celica GT runs quite well. The suspension is firm and the alignment is dead on. Brakes were a bit weak so after the initial test drive I had them put on some front pads which ended up being the final touch. Other than that there is not much to say except everything works as it is supposed to and the air blows cold. I am a taller guy and this little Toyota wouldn't be the right size for me but I drove it from my house to the office a couple of days to see how it would run after sitting for so long.What I like most about this Celica is that it is just such a simple car with a gas saving 4 cylinder engine yet it looks sporty and expensive. The leather is in great shape with no rips or tears and only minimal wear. When looking at the pictures you will see an area of leather where it looks like it is crackling (that's the word I use) this is on the very top of the 2 rear seats by the hatch. This is very common in Florida The carpet is in great shape as well. This little car is very neat! Tires are in decent shape and of course I just had new front brake pads installed. Once again, this is a simple little 4 cylinder And it is put together like a basic Toyota so it's easy to work on as well. The exterior body is in great shape too! The body is straight and it's a nice metallic blue. The Auto Check report states that it had 2 accident, neither one major, but I'm sure it was fixed professionally because I couldn't tell until I read the report. There are a couple of spots where the paint is peeling and a few minor blemishes here and there but actually VERY slick and clean looking ride. Please see photos.To sum it up I would have to say that this is a great car for almost anyone (unless you are very tall like myself). Nothing super fancy or overly expensive, It just looks like a very expensive sports car. Absolutely perfect for a college student and easy to drive so a perfect first car as well. Or even a great car to keep around for a daily driver to save on gas. What makes this this Toyota Celica GT stand a step above the rest is reliability along with economy and it even looks cool too.
