I am listing this 2001 Accident Free Mercedes Benz S500 with only about 138k Original Miles!! The Auto Check gave it a score of 74. Similar vehicles range from 30 to 56 so this Mercedes scores VERY high!! I personally enjoy driving these luxury sedans so took it on a test drive for a few days to see how it was running. The car runs excellent, and very smooth!! The steering is tight and centered. It's got good tires and the air suspension is makes it a really smooth ride.MechanicalMechanically this Mercedes has a very strong engine and transmission and has been Very well maintained. The air ride compressor was just replaced it has good tires and the steering is tight and centered. It truly does run like a Mercedes should. This vehicle will last forever with the proper maintenance and servicing at recommended intervals. Body and ExteriorThis is an Accident Free Mercedes and the paint still shines. Auto Check report shows it as a 100% Florida vehicle and there is NO rust underneath either. It has been well cared for but do not expect perfection. There is one spot about the size of a nickel where there is some oxidation and a few spots near the door handles where there are some slight signs of a some clear coat peel. However please look at all of the pictures because pictures tell more than words. Also there are some light scratches here and there but nothing major. Basically some light cosmetic issues. Overall this is still a great looking car and it does show style and class for sure!!InteriorThe interior is completely in tact and there are no major rips or tears. The driver seat has some normal wear and the arm rest has significant flaking of the leather also the driver side sun visor needs to be repaired or replaced. The sunroof climate control and everything work like it should. There is also a plastic trim piece for the sunroof slider that is missing. And the Navigation LCD has a small blemish, but once again, nothing major. And of course the AC blows NICE AND COLD!! Once again Please view all of the pictures and make your own conclusion.To sum it up, If you are looking for an affordable Great Running Mercedes-Benz S-Class with potential for excellence than this is the car for you. I would definitely not hesitate to drive this Benz anywhere in the country! It is comfortable and Safe and looks good too! There are a few cosmetic flaws but this Mercedes will still turn some heads.
