Vehicle Detail

Offered for consideration is this 2000 Suzuki Hayabusa. This bike has the best of everything! It is a one owner bike and every upgrade was made by Cycle Solutions of Hartford City/Chris Waddell. Chris is well known for his Harley Davidson hotrod tuning, but his background in Suzuki Hayabusa predates the H/D tuning. When the Hayabusa busted onto the sportbike scene in 1999, Chris had the first one in Indiana! He quickly modified it for more power and speed. This bike has belonged to a long time friend of Chris and everything that could be done to make this Hayabusa better has been done. The chassis has some miles on it but all bearings, bushings and suspension parts have been replaced and maintained. Let's start with the chassis... Ohlin's forks and shock. The front forks are set up for a 225 pound rider but the springs come with the bike for anyone that is less than 200 pounds. These are the top of the line forks and shock. All fluids were recently changed by Ohlin's. Brembo brakes on the front. These are the superbike mono block brakes. My personal 2013 came with Brembo brakes, they are not THESE Brembo brakes! The brakes on this bike have incredible stopping power! There are 8 separate brake pads for the front. The bike comes with an additional brand new set of pads. The frame and swingarm have been chromed and are in excellent condition. The paint is custom and very slick. You can not feel the transitions between the colors. The handlebar set up is great for sport touring with a backset position and a wider than stock width. A stock top clamp and a brand set of HeliBars come with the bike if you want to have a more traditional look. The bike has adjustable rear set rider footpegs. The tires have 400 miles on them. The wheels are Marchesini Magnesium wheels. These wheels are much lighter than the stock wheels. They are beautiful! Corbin Beetle Bags... what good is a comfortable fast sportbike if you can't carry anything with you? The Corbin Beetle Bags are a great addition to the bike and hold a surprising amount. Engine... first off, the engine is 1398 cc Orient Express with Yoshimura cams. The crank was lightened, balanced and welded by APE. There is no counter balancer in this engine. That means it revs incredibly quick! But with the balanced crank and other internal parts, the engine is smooth and reliable. The last time the bike ran on the Dynojet dyno, it pulled 205 hp at the rear wheel. The top speed is NOT electronically limited on this bike. Suffice it to say, the bike is fast. The chain and sprockets are both new in the last 1000 miles. There is a Dynojet Power Commander that has been dialed in by Chris. The exhaust is a full titanium Akrapovic system. We are an Indiana motorcycle dealer. We may be required to collect sales tax on the amount of the sales price/winning bid. We do not charge any additional fees to purchase the bike. This Hayabusa is an incredible machine and has been well cared for and maintained. Please contact me with any questions. Keith 765-635-5325
