This 59 has been sitting for a while, the motor runs with the another carb besides the Holley it will be coming with, the Holley needs work. Motor is unknown, but, a 1968 vintage, has a cast iron bell housing, and, a cast iron T-10 4 speed, with a mid year Corvette shifter. The engine has no pad stampings, so without pulling it apart, could be anything from a 307 to a 350. The body is what you see in the pictures, nothing seems to be hidden under layers of bondo. It does have all of its original body panels from what I can tell, and, the lower valances are in excellent shape. Has rust as seen in pictures. Car is very straight... Brakes need re done Clutch slave cylinder is frozen Emergency brake holds Shifter works good, and, goes in gear Car rolls and steers Needs full restoration..... Floors are in ok shape, drivers side floor pan needs replaced, the rest need clean up and patches. Trunk floor needs patches, but, is solid for its age. Drip rails in roof are rusted, and, rails in trunk are worst spots to repair. All the stainless and misc. trim are in pretty good to excellent condition. Car was next to fire, and, burned the paint, and, glass, but, the metal, including the moldings survived fine.
