1968 Pontiac Firebird Coupe PROJECT Burnt Clear Title (Not Salvaged Title).. This car was outside a shop up here in the mountains getting ready for a re-paint..Many of the parts normally removed for a re-paint were in the shop that burnt..So,besides the surface rust and metal that needs to be replaced,many parts are not with the car like bumpers,bumper brackets and more..Before it was in a fire,the car was a 350 Motor with Auto Trans,AC,PS,Power Drum Brakes,Buckets,Console..The previous owner had the car since '72 or '73,and told me it was a mid green with dark green interior.. Nothing special as Firebirds go,but I think it is fix-able to make into a Pro-Touring,Pro-Street,or Hot Rod..I thought I'd make it into a Trans-Am looking car with a '69 T/A hood and spoiler..I started by cutting out and fitting a new floor(new floor NOT included),and cut out/mostly readied it for a fire wall,and also cut off the roof..Then stalled on the project there..Besides the new floor(NOT INCLUDED),I also have a good set of tail lights(NOT INCLUDED) and instrument cluster(NOT INCLUDED..Mileage shown is for that replacement speedo..Not sure of actual mileage of the car..Both VIN's are intact,one driver's side to see through the windshield,the other stamped into the top of the cowl above the heater area.. Previous listing was including some extra parts,those are no longer included at the $150.00 price for the car..Once the car sells,I'll offer these parts cheap:New floor(Retail about $300,OK $200),Good set of tail lights($125) and Instrument cluster($125)..Or $300.00 extra for these extra parts to the buyer of the car now at a lower price.. I think both door shells are good,but will need to be skinned..Hinges look good enough to rebuild..Needs driver's quarter and wheel house,I think pass quarter is savable..Needs roof skin,firewall,trunk floor,trunk lid,hood,all the glass and much more.. Included(not pic'd) if you want it,is the junk 350 motor and auto trans..Also included is the seized 10 bolt rear end..
