The original color was Lime Green (N8) and options included US Equipment, Vent Windows, Oil Tank, Oil Level and Oil Pressure Gauges, Manual Antenna and Noise Suppression. The engine currently fitted, #6144586, matches the factory records and therefore is original to the car. Five subsequent owners are documented in a binder of miscellaneous receipts that accompanies the car and brings us to present day. We recently had this car on consignment and did not have approval from the owner to make some improvements that we believe would have positioned it for a quick sale. We have since taken ownership and made the improvements we thought it needed upon arrival. In the past month we have installed a new dash pad, removed the rear speakers and replaced the rear shelf covering, repaired the driver's seat bottom cushion, replaced rear window seal and installed new window trim, removed, serviced and cleaned gauges, performed a high performance alignment, performed an engine service, installed new front hood struts, performed a full safety check (brakes, lights, horn, driving lights). After the work was performed, one of our salesman drove it from Newport Beach to Monterey for car week. It was his daily driver throughout the event and it performed flawlessly during the nearly 1,000 miles he used the car. This is a unique and desirable model and one that should be considered by anyone looking for a good-looking early 911 that is smog exempt in all states and doesn't have the thermal reactor exhaust. The body and paint are in very good condition and without any signs of rust (present or prior) and we have just tested the mechanicals (and they passed with flying colors). This 911 is complete with books, tools and a binder of records.
