I am the third owner of this car. It has 128,xxx miles on it, i have always garage kept this car. I purchased it in april for the summer and i now need something more practical for winter to get me to and from classes and work. This car runs perfectly and i have always babied this car. Maintenance has always been done on time. The convertible top is in great shape, no tears or leaks. At the start of the summer i bought the rims off a 3.0 model and had them put on the car along with brand new bridgestone potenza run flat tires, they have tons and tons of tread left. Manual transmission with a new clutch put in it during spring. other than that this car is all stock. A few minor things with this car is it needs a new convertible top motor, the current one will unlatch but not pull the top back (caused by the motor corroding due to poor bmw designs), however the top goes up and down flawlessly in manual override(how I have always used it)($350 fix and a weekend of time). Also the car needs a new rear driver side wheel speed sensor (the speedometer won't register because of it, took the car to bmw and paid for them to read it and its just a speed sensor. $30 and 10 mins of time)(Because the wheel speed sensor won't read the speed, the speedometer won't register how fast you are going), the drivers seat also does have a small bit of wear from getting in and out, and the rear 3rd brake lights plastic is cracked, nothing major. I just haven't had the time or money to get the minor things fixed(work 40hrs a week + just paid for college). The dsc light, brake light and abs light are for the speed sensor, i took the car to BMW and paid for them to scan it with their computer and they said it just needs a new driver side rear speed sensor.
