1979 Honda CBX

Heres a 1979 Honda CBX 6 cyl. All original condition. Ran great and shifted fine. Left the petcock on a few months and tried to start it up. It locked up with fuel in some of the cylinders. I kept trying to start it and it started and then developed a knock. looks like with the kickstand down and leaning to the left it can drain gas into #1 cylinder, which had too much fuel in the cyl when it started and bent the rod. A Hydraulic condition. Too bad. That's what I have and that's what happened to it. I only ran it for about 20 sec after I heard the noise. I bought a set of rods for a 1979 and I just don't have the time to fix it. Good price to get a CBX with a little engine work that hopefully you can do yourself. These rods will unbolt from the crank without splitting the crankshaft so its really not too bad. Sold as is. Call 847-385-8268 for more info.
