Vehicle Detail
2004 Jeep Wrangler: ONLY THREE DAY AUCTION History: 1. bought about 2 years ago, purchased warranty with American Auto Shield through Pinnacle Automotive Protection for the price of $2,851.00... never needed to use it only changed the oil twice because only put about 3,000 miles on it... never had a problem. 2. Changed the front passenger tire... difficulty finding match... so the thread is a little different. Front two tires a in excellent shape rear two slightly more than half worn. 3. I only use it for recreation in the summer with convertible top which is in excellent condition... the hard top is under the blue tarp and that is in excellent condition also. Will need pickup to take hard top away. 4. Everything works great as far as I know... a/c is better than new wrangler... no electrical problems that I know about (which is great for a jeep)... I used the 4x4 once just to see if it worked and it did... The guy before me had a hitch with a hook and put in some extra speakers in the back which are still there. Oh... the only problem that I know of is the CD player doesn't work... never did for me. Jeep has no power windows or power door locks everything is manual. 5. I used full synthetic oil in it and only put 93 octane BP in it (because I wanted to keep it in good condition). 6. I never needed the warranty or used it. 7. Jeep is in excellent condition for the age... just some little scrapes here and there used touch up paint which I bought from jeep. I painted the plastic fenders myself because they were turning a milky gray... came out good, not fantastic. No book for the car but can get it online which I would read up on things sometimes. This vehicle has a warranty on it with American Auto Shield that ends 12/26/18 or 132,550 total miles... I paid a lot for it because I wanted a lot covered not just drive train... The warranty has a $100 co-payment for parts and labor that are covered, for example if you need a new transmission and it cost 3,000 parts and labor you will just have to pay $100 towards it. The warranty is completely transferable to new owner and it will cost $100 from new owner to be paid by you to warranty company with the Deluxe warranty plan you also get roadside assistance. Stipulations: I do not make any warranty on this vehicle personally also if something happens like for example: you have 30 days to transfer warranty to new owner and you send it in and the paperwork gets lost in the mail and its over 30 days and the warranty company doesn't want to give you the warranty or you don't send in the $100 to the warranty company to transfer the warranty... I am not responsible for your warranty in any way... The vehicle is sold as is to the best of my knowledge... Ive sold all of my vehicles over the past 10 years with ebay and I only have positive things said about me... with that said be confident that your dealing with a guy who is selling his personally garaged vehicle that was kept in excellent condition only reason selling it is Im bored of it and bought a miata. Now let me make clear again: The warranty should go through no problem... Ive called them and talked with them about warranty transfer they seem very good but if the warranty falls through I in no way bear any responsibility in the warranty of this vehicle... it should go through no problem barring something very strange... also if you should so choose to cash in this warranty and void the warranty and get some money back from the vendor or the warranty company you will no longer have a warranty for this vehicle in anyway. Note... Cashing in on the warranty is a terrible idea... yeah you will get some money back in your pocket but driving an older car with no warranty will cost you in the long run. Im in no way responsible for your vehicle... once you buy this car it is your sole responsibility and I have no warranty responsibilities of any kind... Once you buy it transferring the warranty to yourself is your doing you must deal with American Auto Shield for warranty issues. Information that you should check out: This is the Deluxe warranty which covers a lot of parts including drive train and roadside assistance and many other parts for a full listing contact AAS at 1800-531-1925 to check out what is covered and what is not... I paid extra for the Deluxe because I wanted most of the parts covered which it does... you can also call Pinnacle at 1888-518-6738 that's the vendor for American Auto Shield... Ive kept up on checking all the fluids but it hasn't needed any since I bought the car. On Aug-30-15 at 15:46:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a note: Iver receive a bunch of emails asking the exact condition of this jeep: This jeep is in good to excellent condition its 11 years old and there will be blemishes on the inside and out. If your interested in a car close to mint... don't bit... I don't think you will be happy and that is my main goal is for the buyer and seller to be happy with the transaction.
