For sale is a beautiful 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z. This is a ROT FREE, ACCIDENT FREE, BEAUTIFUL CAMARO! Car has only 54,300 miles. The title does not have an odometer discrepancy and functions properly. The condition of this car reflects the low miles! With only 12,116 IROC Z Camaros made in 1988 with the 5.7 engine (the biggest engine offered) and only a fraction of that with the red on red color scheme. Here are the features and specs on this Camaro.... It has the 350 5.7 TPI L98 engine that produced 230 HP and 330 ft lbs of torque from the factory. The IROCS were the only Camaros that got the 5.7 L 350 in 1988 with the majority of them having the 305. All IROC convertibles had the weaker 305, and any Camaro with a manual transmission had the 305. The automatic coupe (with a ttop option) had the standard 700R4 transmission backed up behind the 350 TPI. This engine has been "tastefully" modified to help it run smoother and stronger with modern technology. As you can see from the pictures the engine is very clean and has been taken care of. No expenses were spared when an issue presented itself. The engine starts right up and runs good. The engine bay is exceptionally clean with a really clean engine. No leaks what so ever. The oil pan, transmission pan, differentials, brake lines, etc. NOT ONE DROP. Its been sitting in my garage without being started for a weeks now without a single drop. This engine has had all of its regular maintenance and updates done such as plugs, wires, sensors, distributor, radiator, and dress up items such as valve covers. The A/C had a leak and was deleted from the car the correct way where an enthusiast if he wishes could easily reinstall one. As you can see from the pictures a delete pulley has been added, a cover, and all hoses were rerouted correctly. Heck, who needs A/C anyways when you have ttops! A "Jet" performance chip has been added with a diagnostic port just under the drivers dash. This allows for you to hook up and diagnose and tune the engine through a computer. Included in the sale is a Dell laptop with the program pre installed on the computer and the diagnosis cord. The engine has currently been tuned to perfection. Guarantee this is the best sounding IROC in the area! There is a really nice set of headers, that is ran with all new pipes back to a dual exhaust with Flowmaster muffler. This is a nasty sounding IROC. It is by no means obnoxious, over bearing, or cheesy. At an idle it just has a low v8 rumble and with a little gas it gives off a smooth roar. I have no proof it was done but it shows signs of being rebuilt at some point in its life. It is the standard automatic 700R4. The car include 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering, power windows, and power locks. Of course all seals are good and do not leak! This Camaro is also equipped with cruise control from the factory and works properly. I just took this car down the highway last month at 72 MPH for 50 miles. The car runs and drives great, smooth, no shakes, stops properly, and runs clean. There is no smoke or oil our the exhaust on start up or during operation. Very clean running car. Again its amazing to see a 25 year old car with a functioning cruise control that isn't restored with a high price tag on it. Also includes the original spare tire from the factory never used, original jack, and original "GM" Ttop storage bag with hooks as you can see from the pictures. Have the original owners manual as well. Tires have decent tread left and original IROC rims are in good condition. Car is equipped with the highly desirable 9 bolt Borg Warner rear end that was made in the USA. The interior is so close to being ready for the car show. No cracks, rips, or major stains. The seats have zero rips or tears, all original glass, no cracks in the plastic, and original floor mats. Don't waste your money on a rusty money pit Camaro or Firebird when you could enjoy this ROT FREE, straight one. It does have imperfections such as a quarter size dent on the hood (shown in the pictures), a scratch under the bra about 3 inches long (not dented, all superficial), and some paint fading from the sun (mainly on the roof support and trunk.
