In 2013 the engine blew a rod. We had the engine replaced, then had nothing but problems -- the battery kept draining and there was an engine clicking noise. We put the car in the garage for two years. We decided to have the car repaired and sell it. The repairs included a new fuel pump, new windshield wiper motor (which took care of the battery draining problem), a new battery and all the fluids topped off. It was an $800 investment in the car. Now it starts right up, but there is still a clicking sound. Turns out this engine also has a blown rod. The engine requires repair or replacement. It can be driven gently, but will eventually break down, as the problem get worse.
