This 1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was owned by a family friend, who purchased it new in 1971. Upon his passing, the car was given to my father, who was its only mechanic, in or around 1991. To the best of my knowledge, the mileage shown (135,722) is the original mileage. In 1996 my father installed a full size reconditioned 455 eight cylinder motor in the car. The car was given to me a few years later. The new motor has, to the best of my knowledge, about 6,000 miles on it. The car has been sitting for about the last five years. It will need new fluids, gas, tires, etc. and likely additional repairs, since it has not been driven for a while. Paint and upholstery will be needed to restore its beauty. The Olds is perfect for a restoration project. I have the original emblems as well. I also have the receipts from the engine replacement and all the work that was performed on it since 1996. I also have the original paperwork that came with the car - the warranty, owner's manual and consumer information guide. SOLD AS IS.
