Vehicle Detail

1969 F-100 Ranger 390 V8 Automatic, 2V*Rare Factory Ordered Bucket Seats *New Jasper remanufactured C6 Transmission*AC *Power Steering VIN: F10HLE95108 This is a Southern US Truck, purchased in Alabama, with 109,946 original miles. It was ordered from the factory in 1969 with bucket seats and air conditioning. Trucks ordered with these rare options of the day were rarely used as work vehicles and the condition of this one is testimony to that fact. One look at the carpet, seats, and bed and you can tell it has never been worked out of. There is not one dent in the bed. Furthermore, I have seen literally hundreds of these trucks on the internet and have only seen two 67-72 F100’s with the bucket seat option; so it is truly a rare truck. It drives smooth down the road with no drift or play in the steering wheel. It handles better than any F100 I have ever driven and I have been behind the wheel of approximately 15 trucks of this era over the years. The new Jasper Remanufactured C6 transmission shifts as it should and downshifts as normal upon acceleration. The bucket seats give you a lot more support than similar trucks with the standard bench seat set up so it is very comfortable even during long trips. The bucket seats are the exact seats that were installed in Shelby Mustangs of the era and they are original to the truck. I have one of the two pieces of factory chrome trim that were mounted directly behind these seats just above the gas tank (driver's side). It went through a pretty extensive restoration about 15 years ago. I was told the heads were redone as well at the time but I have no proof of any of the work other than the new Jasper Transmission which was done about one year ago (with less than 1000 miles and a transferable warranty). I did have the compression tested on the engine and all cylinders are in normal range. The fellow I purchased it from had obtained the truck from the original owner who had a complete photo album of the restoration but would not part with it for sentimental reasons so I cannot pass that on to the next owner. However, take a look at these pictures and you will see it is in excellent condition. Even the glass is all original and still has the Ford markings. I am sure it was stored in a garage and out of the sun or else these markings would be long gone. I also have a brand new set of exterior chrome door handles that will go with the truck. I have driven this truck for hours and it runs smoothly and shifts perfectly. The doors and tail gate all open and close with ease and have that solid sound when closing unique to these trucks. All gauges work except the speedometer. The cable is in tact but needs to be property connected to the new transmission. Original AM Radio, wipers, lights and blinkers all work. The truck is pretty much stock with the exception of cherry bomb type mufflers that exit through a single exhaust. The aluminum wheels are new. Tires that have about 80% remaining tread. Defects: This is an older restoration. Therefore, some paint chips and imperfections exist. There are two rust spots under the hood and some under the passenger door. However, that is the extent of it. This is a very solid Southern US truck. I took pictures of the cab mounts and cab corners to show just how nice the underbody is. The dash also has a crack on the passenger side. The driver’s bucket seat has some seam separation as shown in the picture but that is the only defect in the seats. It is not show quality but could be with minor effort. AC works but needs to be recharged. Georgia does not issue a title on a vehicle this old. Therefore, it will be sold with a Bill of Sale. The truck is tagged, insured, and registered in my name so I will be happy to give you a copy of my registration as well. I am a straight shooter so feel free ask any questions or request more pictures. If you are the winning bid, no one else in the country will have one like it! Thanks for your interest and good luck bidding.
