This is a replica CHP tribute vehicle, built to race in the silver state classic challenge (SSCC.COM) with the approval and participation of the CHP and local law enforcement ...The Camaro is currently in a non op status with Ca. dmv and is sold as such, not intended for or legal for street use in the state of California... has no smog equipment and is strictly for track and closed course competition only!!! Buyer will need to accept and acknowledge this at time of purchase. Ok, now with that stated.. Started life as a 1984 z/28, H.O., 305 4bbl, 700r4...All that is long, long gone...Now, 450 horse ram jet 355, (0.030 ), Dyno built and tested at Lee performance, many upgrades to the stock ramjet, 10-1 JE pistons, fast burn gm heads, Lt4 hot cam, roller lifters, roller rockers (1.6 ratio), upgraded fuel injectors, re bored throttle body, match ported intake/ exhaust ports, ceramic coated Doug's (Thorley) headers...re mapped MEF3 Ecm..hand fabricated AFE air intake system built at AFE shop in So. cal..T56 6 speed installed with correct ( read, expensive!) aftermarket conversion bell housing, rebuilt driveshaft, joints..fuel system was completely rebuilt starting with new (fuel injected) tank for baffles, modified with an access panel to allow sump in tank to be removed as a module and fitted with 2 high volume/ pressure pumps in series to ensure proper fuel delivery at sustained high speed and high rpm use, entire system is braided steel with correct fittings and a removable and serviceable filter in line ...Exhaust system is completely hand fabricated by a local high performance specialty shop to fit perfectly under the car which can be a challenge under third gen platforms and is stainless 3.5 inch from collectors to the factory 3rd gen tips..this car works very well and has been clocked in Nevada in excess of 160 mph on highway 318 by ESPN..Has the factory 4 wheel disc brake option, and is all still oem, could use bigger brakes for track days, but, again, primary build was for top speed open road competition. Has 16 inch IROC wheels with toyo tires..sub frame connectors and caged, has 5 point harnesses , no rear seats, no heater or core, no a/c or any associated equipment, no wipers..Replaced 1984 front end with 1990 z/28 and taillights also from 1990, to provide a much needed more aggressive appearance.. Numerous trophies, participant plaques, couple of best of show, one 1st place as most unusual.. a definite head turner and conversation vehicle..Life just goes in a different direction and no longer have the time to take the car out and play, but it still wants to go!Also have a 2006 Hallmark enclosed trailer I purchased new that can be included with the sale and additional price, if interested we can discuss that separately..
