1997 Chevy Pickup Regular Cab Short Bed **VERY LOW MILES** Selling my 97 short bed. I really love this truck and hate to sell because I know I will never find another this clean but I must sell. It is very clean with only 85000 miles. It has the original victory red paint and at almost twenty years old it looks amazing. There are a few scratches here and there but nothing crazy. There was some scrapes by the rear wheel wells and I colored them in with the duplicolor paint repair kit (pictured). Also did some scratches by the drivers side tail light (also pictured). Cant notice them unless you know where to look and are looking for them. Probably the cleanest original 88-98 pickup I've seen. Clear coat is very good and has no flaking issues. Not one dent on the truck which is pretty remarkable. Truck turns heads wherever it goes. And being the 5.7 with a 5-speed it is fun to drive and pretty rare in this configuration. Inside the bed shows some use but has had a bed mat since new so it is in pretty good shape. A bed liner would look really nice though. The truck is lowered with a belltech 5-7 drop kit so it still rides nice its not hacked up it was done right. Also can be easily put back to stock suspension although I do not have the parts. Currently has 17 inch AR rims with Goodyear 255/60r17 tires all the way around. The original tires and wheels are included too if wanted. Underneath the truck is very very clean. As said earlier the truck has a 5.7 vortec. Engine is stock besides a set of ceramic headers and a cold airaid intake. Headers bolt up to a stock "Y" pipe so all the o2 sensors still have thier ports and no check engine light on. I have a flowmaster 40 series muffler on it which ends with a turn down just befor the rear because I thought it looked clean with no exhaust coming out the side. Sounds great. Slight exhaust leak from the drivers side donut seal between the header and y pipe. Not loud oudside but in the cab you can hear it. I may fix this if I get time this week, its an easy fix. The engine runs great. Trans is a stock 5-speed that shifts smooth. And the rear is a 3:42 posi. Interior is very clean as well. No cracks in the dash, headliner is perfect. There is one tear in the side of the seat on the drivers side on the vinyl part. The only other issue inside is the rubber floor has pulled out a little on the drivers side and needs tucked back under the sill plate. I added the sport "chevrolet" decal to the tailgate because I thought it would look good as a sport. I did not put the sport bed side decals on but I do have them and they will come with the truck.
