Vehicle Detail
Offered at auction is a 1999 Honda Goldwing SE in overall nice condition. It has a few scratches here and there but for a 16 year old bike it shines up pretty good. It has a lot of extra chrome on it (see photos) as well as floorboards front and rear. The CB turns on and indicates channel changes but I do not have helmets with intercoms to see if it is transmitting. It shows that it is but I honestly do not know. The radio works fine and all of the speakers work. I took the motorcycle in on trade for a classic car I sold to a guy in eastern Oklahoma. When I got the bike I had it serviced (fresh oil/filter change, new air filter installed, etc.) and the only time I have ridden it is to fill it up with fuel. All of the gauges appear to work fine. All of the lights work (including the lights in the driver's highway pegs. See photos). The brakes work fine. It shifts good, runs good, starts easy. It has a trailer hitch as well. I have a clear Oklahoma title in my name and there are no liens on the bike. I do not carry insurance on it since I don't ride it. I park it in my garage and that is where is sits...........so it's time to sell it to someone who will enjoy it. I have another motorcycle I ride and have no desire to keep a touring bike. NADA shows the bike to have a high retail value of around $5,300 (not taking into account the extra chrome and equipment on the bike) with a low retail of around $4,000. I figure it is well worth $4,000 so that's where I'll start the bidding. The Goldwing riders will have a really good idea of the bike's value so if you are not familiar with Goldwing's contact someone who is and ask them their opinion. Remember this is a no reserve auction so if it gets a bid then it sells. I encourage you to come by and take a look at the Goldwing. I am located in Yukon, Oklahoma (west side of Oklahoma City). My cell number is (405) 328-4309. I require a $250.00 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT immediately after the auction ends with the remaining balance due within 7 days. Please no exceptions. The balance can be paid either by cash, wire transfer, or certified bank check (yes, I will call the bank and verify the authenticity of the cashiers check prior to the motorcycle leaving my possession). The Goldwing is sold "AS IS/WHERE IS" with no warranties implied or expressed. I will not ship the bike but if it is paid for in advance then I will meet with a shipper and help load it. I understand it is tough to buy a motorcycle just off of photos online so I encourage you to take a look first before bidding and give me a call if you have questions. Thanks for taking a look and good luck bidding! As of Sunday morning I have lowered the starting price of this 1999 Gold Wing to $3,500.00. Anyone interested should give me a call to discuss. Like I mentioned earlier in the ad this bike simply sits in my garage so it's time to make room and get it sold. You might be able to find a better priced, better condition '99 Gold Wing but I suspect you would really have to hunt for one for a long time........ Wish I was a Gold Wing rider because this is one I would most likely keep. I just don't ride cross country on a bike so my VTX 1300 suits my riding habits. Someone is going to get a great deal!
