This car will turn heads just as is, but can use some TLC to make it even better! Here's what I know the car needs mechanically:New heater core (currently antifreeze will leak into the passenger side compartment)New Speedometer cable (this is a common Miata issue...they dry up, get old and NOISY!)New brakes The undercarriage plastic guard is hanging down...it probably just needs to be screwed back in place but I've been too lazy to check it out.The interior could use a new radio/cd player. We disconnected it a long time ago when we took the interior apart to install the new top, and never finished wiring everything back up (Do you see a theme here? Ain't nobody got time!)The airbag warning light flashesCar has A/C but it needs servicing to make it cold againCosmetically, the car...Has newer paint (3 years old), but there are still a couple dings in the paint and some paint imperfections. It was a MAACO paint job...so upon close inspection there are areas of bubbling/overspray.Has newer tan top (around 3-4 years old).Pretty much has original interior so you can expect wear and tear associated with a car with 192K...some wear on the sides of the seat. A couple cracks in the dash, the center console lid is scratched up, could use new shift boot. Has a black tonneau cover includedCould use a new set of convertible latches to improve the seal when the top is up. (Or maybe they could be adjusted??)I purchased this car used at ~130K, and in my opinion runs just like the day I bought it. The list of issues above is not meant to be all inclusive...I'm not by any means a mechanic so this is just things I'm aware of, and want to emphasize that the auction is for the car AS IS, with no warranty, either expressed or implied.
