Vehicle Detail

This is a very sharp, very straight and very drivable 1957 Chevrolet model 210 2 door station wagon built by the previous owner at least 4 years ago, and added to since by me for cruising. A 1969 Nova 350 with a new Edelbrock Performer carb on vintage GM performance aluminum intake fires right up to take you where you want to go. A Turbo 350 transmission turns a recently rebuilt and balanced driveshaft to a recently rebuilt rear axle. Rack & Pinion steering take the grunt out of driving. Power brakes drive the 4 wheel disc brakes. Recent American Racing wheels with recent BF Goodrich Radial TA tires provide that classic look. Factory style dual exhaust is routed to the rear bumper as it should be and provides a modest rumble. Grey vinyl tuck and roll upholstery with matching grey carpeting provide a comfortable classic clean look. The rear seat folds flat as it did from the factory to provide many uses for the vehicle. 4 position seat belts have been added so the kids can ride legally. The back seat windows do roll down on the 210, where they don't on the 150 models. The detailed red dash and window trim really stand out against the grey interior, especially with the polished billet dash trim. An AM/FM cassette stereo provides tunes when desired. Air conditioning keeps things in the interior cool when cruising. But the real highlight of this car is the rust free and laser straight body with beautiful red paint! I replaced both bumpers, bumper guards and chrome grill surrounds with new or replated parts to match the gorgeous body! The previous owner (PO) never finished re-installing the windshield wiper motor, and neither did I. Not much of a problem as it rarely sees rain. The PO also replaced the small station wagon gas tank with a much larger non-Chevrolet tank, so the gas gauge doesn't work. We've enjoyed this car immensely for the last 4 years, but it's time to try a street rod. It's a great cruiser and always gets attention!I reserve the right to cancel auction in case vehicle sells locally before end of auction. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit by PayPal is required within 24 hours of auctions close. Final payment and shipping arrangements are due within 7 days of auction close. This car is in great condition, but since it is 58 years old and I am not a dealer, it is sold in as-is condition.
