This truck has recently come out of an extensive restoration. Things that were replaced with new: paint, bedliner, carpet, bench seat cover, seat belts, steering wheel, mirrors, weather stripping, window felt, all rubber seals, headlights, ignition switch, door locks, glove box liner, all stainless trim, emblems, wheels, tires, alternator, springs, shocks, exhaust, rockers, roll pans, door handles (inside), door handles (outside), turn signals, tail light lenses, air cleaner, shift boot, shift knob, volt meter, tachometer, oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge, gas pedal, brake pedal, I'm sure there is more... The stock motor has been replaced by a small block 350 with an Edelbrock Perfomer intake, headers and a Holley 650. It starts perfectly and runs smoothly. The turbo 350 transmission has just had a rebuild and has a shift kit in it. This thing will hit it and get it! The alternator is upgraded to a 1 wire 80 amp unit. This truck is ready for a weekend cruise or to be shown at a show. The body has been upgraded with roll pans front and rear, all lenses replaced with clear, the stock Chevy emblem has been painted black, the C H E V R O L E T letters have been removed from the hood for a very clean look. Keeping with the clean theme, the side marker lights were filled with METAL and removed from the bed. The 67 model did not have them in the front fenders. The truck has been lowered 3 inches in the front and 4 in the rear to make it sit at a very aggressive but also very driveable height. The tires are 255/40-20 on Helo wheels. It does not hit the bump stops when I drive it. We put new shocks on all four corners when we lowered it and it rides like a Cadillac! In the interior we up graded to the 72 instrument cluster so you have more to look at than just a speedometer and a fuel gauge. Now it also has voltmeter, tachometer, oil pressure, and water temperature gauges. The shifter has been moved to the floor.
