Vehicle Detail

This will make a great car for the returning H.S. / College student - or anyone interested in a reliable quality used vehicle!! '02 Infiniti I35 Sedan, I bought this car new June 30, 2002, one owner, non-smoker, very good condition, gold with light tan leather interior, great paint, no dents and no rust. Car features sunroof, alloy wheels, factory HID headlights, all four seats and the steering wheel are heated. Maintenance records. Recent maintenance items include brakes and struts, tires, serpentine belt, alternator and battery ($3700.00 TOTAL). Located in Naperville, IL. This vehicle is for sale in other venues as well. In the interest of full disclosure for this well maintained vehicle, there are two minor things wrong with it: 1) The six way power drivers seat is partly stuck, it will not go forward / backward. All other adjustments work fine. The motor for forward / backward works as you can hear it when you attempt to adjust it. It must be stuck on it's track. And, 2) The sunroof will tilt only, will not slide open fully. This started happening after the battery was replaced recently. To research these problems (as I did) just "Google" '02 Infiniti I35 seat stuck forward/backward, and sunroof will not fully open (only tilt), for the same model of car. After "Googling" both problems, both problems appear to be something minor, and a quirk that is common to Infiniti (and all Nissan products) and the I35. But, I urge you to check it out for yourself! Also, the car does not use oil, and I have never experienced a problem with the transmission or engine. THE NADA GUIDE for used car values puts the clean retail price of this car with this equipment at this (low) mileage at $6225.00. I am a serious seller - are you a serious buyer? The title is clear and the car is one-owner clean with many new parts. Japanese dependability, luxury and low parts pricing (compared to German automobiles). I only buy Nissan products now after buying many Chevy, Ford, Honda and Toyota automobiles BECAUSE of my ownership experience with this car. My opinion; Infiniti / Nissan is rock solid and bulletproof! THIS CAR SHOULD SELL - THE RESERVE PRICE IS SET AT A VERY REASONABLE LEVEL FOR THIS 1 OWNER VEHICLE. THIS CAR IN THE PREVIOUS AUCTION - THAT JUST ENDED - WAS BID AT $3955.00 WHEN IT EXPIRED. I HAVE A PROVIDED A REASONABLE "BUY IT NOW PRICE" FOR THOSE THAT MAY NEED A CAR AND/OR RECOGNIZE A VERY FAIR VALUE! Q: Are the tires all in good condition? Jul-17-15 A: All the tires are in very good condition with great tread depth. They are near-the-top-of-the-line Perelli (P7's, I think) that have a great traction rating and grip, even on snow. When I bought them I purchased an 75,000 mile warranty for them at Discount Tire. I am unsure, however, if that warranty is transferable to the second owner. Q: Hi, I have a few questions regarding the vehicle: 1- Illinois is among rust belt states, Have you ever inspected underneath of the car for any rust spot? That would be awesome if you could provide some pics from those areas. 2- These pictures must have been taken before Feb 2015 (based on odometer reading reported in the carfax history). Is it now in the very same condition? 3- Has the car been garage kept? 4- What is the reason for selling the car? 5- Can the exchange be done in Chicago? Thank you Jul-17-15 A: Here are your answers, and thank you for visiting my eBay Motors listing! 1) Illinois is definitely a rust belt state. I have had a look at the underside while the brakes were replaced ($1,240.00), and then when the factory struts were all replaced with top-of-the-line Monroe struts ($1,056.00), and their is a some rust on the cat-back system (exhaust) but minimal amount on the under-carriage. I am too old to crawl under the car and take pictures, sorry! 2) Don't know how you did your Carfax mileage math, but it's wrong. I rarely drive the car anymore and the mileage is absolutely correct, under 103,000 miles. The Pictures were taken in July 2015, and this car is now and always has been in very good to excellent condition, I will not misrepresent this car TO YOU NOR ANYONE ELSE! So don't go there. 3) The car was garage kept (and driven by my wife) up until the last year, when I bought a new Nissan product for my wife. 4) I am now semi-retired, and as I said in answer number 1 above, the car does not get driven much anymore. The real need for this vehicle for me is gone. 5) Possibly, depending upon the area of Chicago and time of the swap. Thanks for asking! Do you feel lucky? Well, do you?!?Make a bid, and maybe get the deal of a lifetine on a great car!!! On Jul-19-15 at 21:48:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Dear mdoakk, May I ask what the reserve price is? - m*****-s**** A: You may, but it is required to think out-of-the-box for the answer. If you want a great dependable used car, you must act fast! If $3600 were your bid within 12 hours, your offer may endure! But if you wait too long, your offer will turn to manure! To be really smart about your purchase, you must be sharp in your timing! If not, each passing hour may require you to delve deeper into your savings! In this economy, slow is of no use and quick is of the essence! On Jul-20-15 at 07:52:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I see that no one bid $3,600.00 for this car in the first 12 hours of the auction. I had a "Buy It Now" price posted at $5,025.00. It disappeared, and I tried to re-instate it but eBay's system wouldn't let me do it. If you want to "Buy It Now" at $5,025.00 please email me with that specific price of $5,025.00. Otherwise, the auction continues. In any case, this car will sell this week!On Jul-25-15 at 09:15:09 PDT, seller added the following information: These 3.5 Liter Infiniti engines are awesome! 255 H.P. and plenty of torque. They are built very sturdy: for example, this engine features a timing CHAIN, which does not require replacement, as does a timing BELT. I have never experienced the need to add oil between oil changes with this car. Additionally this car leaks no fluids of any type. Your garage floor is safe!
