ENGINERuns well, serviced regularly. Engine bay experienced rodent damage in the form of insulation on underside of hood picked away. This does not effect performance. Lots of power. Registered in CA to 2016- no problems with smog ever. TRANSMISSIONExcellent condition automatic transmission- OEM replacement at 97K. Smooth operation in all modes. INTERIORHeadliner and all interior intact and clean, no tears, minor cracks in dash. Rear shade intact and operational. Interior surfaces in good to excellent condition. PAINT AND BODYPaint is in good condition with some small chips, no rust, pinstripe worn, esentially original Zinoberrot Red paint with a well earned patina. Paint on hood oxidized to flat. All brightwork in good condition. Hood BMW icon rubbed down to chrome, does give this one character, but could be replaced. Rear icon is new. OEM BMW carpets clean and in good condition. Sunroof, and windows work in all positions. WHEELS AND TIRESFactory BMW BBS rims. Tires are worn. SUSPENSION AND BREAKS Breaks and suspension are in excellent condition ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIESFactory AC system blows cold, optional rear AC and cooler operational, Fan and Heater operational, power windows and locks operational, seat controls operational, cable that drives gear on driver seat needs to be adjusted. Aftermarket CD player with remote and USB connection. Minor electrical issues and occasional unknown battery drain. Tachometer, test lights and gas gauge do not function correctly all the time.
